HELP CENTER

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

You do not need a doctors Referral to attend an Osteopathy appointment. Osteopathy is a Allied Health Profession, helping reduce painful symptoms within the Musculoskeletal System. Your first appointment will determine if you are safe to treat and whether or not your symptoms warrant investigation from a different department of health.

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

I currently practice with WPA insurance only.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

First patients are required to book a one hour initial appointment. This time is used for case history taking where we discuss your symptoms and systemic health, followed by examination of the presenting area then treatment to finish. Usually patients receive around 40-45 minutes treatment in first sessions depending on the complexity of their presentation.

IS OSTEOPATHY JUST FOR BACKS?

Osteopathy can be sourced and utilised for treatment across the entire Musculoskeletal system. For example Ankle symptoms, Knee, Wrist- not just back pain! Please contact if you have any questions about your presentation before attending.
